::08/13/2007: Crush's death comes as a surprise to Big Vito
Big Vito was surprised to receive news about the death of his former wrestling opponent, Bryan 'Crush' Adams, at the age of 43.
Vito Lo Grasso or Big Vito, also 43, knew Adams when he first started out with the World Wrestling Federation (now WWE). Crush teamed with fellow wrestlers Ax and Smash as a member of Demolition in the early 1990s during which time, he fought the Marmalukes, Johnny the Bull and Big Vito.
For a man of his size, Adams was extremely athletic, agile and very powerful. He was one of the toughest guys Big Vito faced in the ring.
However outside, Adams was kind and soft spoken and very family oriented. He liked to have a quiet laugh and was well respected.
Big Vito would like to offer his condolences to Adams' wife and family.
